Unfamiliar with florists local to the funeral, I used your service to order an arrangement appropriate for the sad occasion; your ‘Red & White Standing Spray’ located in the Sympathy category. The requested delivery is for a funeral home, and the associated card is from your “funeral” selection.
As a registered customer using your service as prescribed, I expected the 1-800 Flowers system - and your employees within the process - to recognize the purpose and meaning of the order.
My trust was misplaced. With no other recent orders in your system, I received the attached cheery message.
Please investigate and ensure this doesn’t happen to future bereaved customers. I’m sure they - or their recently deceased loved one - will not start this particular day with a smile.
