Pedro knows
Saw this sign again on i-95 heading to Florida the old fashioned way in December. Sr. Pedro makes the trip feel longer with his countdowns, but this one makes me laugh.
When will South of the Border go PC? Blah.

¡Si! The signs drive me nuts. Why not fly?

My family and I used to drive to Fla. from NY every summer. And a highlight (for me) was the SOB (South of the Border) signs as we approached the NC/SC border. We even stayed one night at their hotel. Best part? Well, two. One, their fireworks store (woohoo!) and two, the sign in their restaurant that said:
Free Cup of Coffee to All Civil War Veterans
And then in small print:
Accompanied by their parents.
Pedro forecast: Chile Today, Hot Tamale
