I still blog! And finally, here's the full set of photos from the trip.
I discovered a shared fascination of foreign toilets with my old pal Sally. German toilets spin sideways to clean the seat, and Japanese toilets include musical effects for private um, sittings. Nice to know someone else talked this up - although she didn't take pics.
We were greeted by an oasis in the middle of Changi airport in Singapore. It's also an amazing shopping mall with a mix of high-end stores and tourist shops.
Clearly I've been a summer blogger this year with my sporadic posts.
Now I'm off for two more weeks but since my internal clock will be wonky from time zone shifts, I may find time to blog at weird hours.
This trip's for work and will literally take me around the world. I'll take pics of everything!
Time to pack again. This time I need the right stuff for two weeks overseas. One destination is smack in the middle of monsoon season. The other is fairly dry but hot. Very hot. Excellent.
Apparently there is not enough stress in my life because I've begun shopping for a new house. My hunt buddies and I visited 20 or so properties in person this weekend, in addition to tons of online research.
I think I found the house I want last weekend... and still feel that way after all this browsing. I'm wrestling with the notion of going further out into the country for social, convenience, and commute concerns, but leaning towards taking the plunge. Then there's the whole fiasco of selling my current home. Any buyers?
