A mob of morons

Tonight we tuned into 1 vs. 100, a multiple choice "trivia show" on NBC. The gimmick is that one contestant plays against 100 others.
 
The show started with a carry-over from the previous show, so the ultimate lameness was a little unclear. The first contestant left quickly with a nice chunk of change.
 
The next contestant used one of her "helps" on the very first question:
 
Q: Which of the following has the least amount of cells: 
A. Eastern gray squirrel
B. Calista Flockhart
C. An amoeba
She didn't know, nor did at least 10 members of the mob. OMFG.
 
The next question asked the mob & contestant to identify two Sesame Street characters. Bert & Ernie were choices. Many people got it wrong. 
 
We changed the channel and chatted on and off about stupid people, pop culture and crappy television shows.
